Hen of the Woods provides a sense of place and a relationship to the land through food and togetherness. Eating seasonally to establish a connection with nature and build community around the table is our goal. Using inspiration from around the world and local ingredients, we provide unique and cohesive menus for anything from weekday dinners to weddings and parties. 

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, we work with farmers on a weekly basis to gather fresh ingredients. Shared food, conversation and experiences is one of the simplest and strongest way to make lasting connections. We hope to provide a memorable meal for you and your loved ones to gather around.

Chef and Owner Mallory Grimm has long dreamt of owning her own catering business. With experience in Michelin-star restaurants, running a kitchen at an esteemed guest ranch in Southern Wyoming and working locally in Tennessee, she has gathered experience in a range of techniques and cuisines, as well as preparing wild game, creating desserts and pastry and cooking over an open fire. With an education in Environmental Studies, she is passionate about eating locally and supporting sustainable agriculture.
